The Metrix SV 6300 velocity sensor is intended to replace a moving coil velocity transducer with a solid-state sensor. It consists of a temperature stabilized piezoelectric sensor and an amplifier packaged together in a stainless steel case. It is capable of sensing a wide range of vibration frequencies on a variety of machines. The built-in amplifier provides a high level, low impedance, 100 mV/ips (3.94 mV/mm/s) sensitivity output for connection to a signal conditioner. The SV6300A is not position sensitive.
